Using GeekPAK Lite, Chicago Public Schools was able to develop an industrial strength website at an entry level price.
The Excellence in Teaching Project seeks to transform instructional practice in Chicago Public Schools through the use of the Framework for Teaching to define effective practice, encourage conversations about instruction, and identify areas for professional growth. They seek to make Chicago Public Schools (CPS) the best place to teach in the nation.

In order to facilitate these goals Chicago Public Schools needed an easy to use tool to create and manage the Excellence in Teaching website. Specifically the GeekPAK Lite Content Management System allowed Chicago Public Schools to meet their goals of:

1. Keep the overall project budget low in these tight economic times
2. Rapid development of a feature rich, content focused website
3. Develop a website that can grow into the future
4 Enable CPS staff to maintain and create website content

Using the GeekPAK Lite Content Management System, Chicago Public Schools was able to develop an industrial strength website with all of the rich features of a traditional CMS at an entry level website price.
